When you set up returnEasier you pick a brand colour for the withdrawal button. Until now that choice was saved but never reached the actual button on your store: the storefront showed a default colour and your choice was ignored. That's now fixed.
What changes
The colour you pick in the branding step of onboarding is now applied to the «Withdraw from contract here» button your buyers see. No copying colour codes, no editing the theme: pick the colour once and it appears on the storefront.
Nothing else changes: the button label is still the one required by law and the withdrawal flow is identical. It's just the colour that finally reflects your brand.
Where you pick the colour
There are two places to set it and they work together:
- Onboarding: the colour you choose while setting up the app is applied to the button directly.
- The Shopify theme editor: if you'd rather adjust it there, that value wins over the onboarding one. If you leave it empty, the button falls back to the colour you chose during setup. The exception is the discreet text link: with the colour empty it deliberately inherits your theme's text colour, so it looks right on any background.
That way you control the colour from wherever suits you, without one choice overriding the other by mistake.
The text stays readable
If your brand colour is light, the button's text and border automatically switch to a dark tone to keep the contrast. The button reads well on both light and dark backgrounds, with nothing for you to calculate.
If you already touched the theme editor
On older installs the theme editor may have a default colour saved that still takes priority. If your onboarding colour isn't showing, open the theme editor, find the returnEasier button and clear the colour picker (or set the colour you want right there). From then on your choice is respected.
