Which plan are the analytics and alerts on?

On Scale. Returns management and legal compliance work on the lower plans; the analytics dashboard and the configurable alerts are the visibility layer that Scale adds.

What can I watch with an alert?

Two metrics: the percentage a specific product represents over your total returns and the store's average resolution time in hours. You set the threshold and the channel (email, in-app notice or both).

Is it going to fill my inbox?

No. Rules are evaluated once a day over the last 30 days, and a fired rule does not warn again until 7 days have passed, even if it stays above the threshold.

What language do the alert emails arrive in?

In your store's language, like the rest of the merchant emails. They are available in the 7 supported languages.

Returns analytics and configurable alerts (Scale plan)

The Scale plan debuts the analytics dashboard —trend, most-returned products, reasons, returned value per currency— and the configurable alerts: tell returnEasier what to watch (a product with too many returns, the resolution time) and it warns you by email and in the app when your threshold is exceeded.

Until now you knew which returns you had; from today you also know what they are telling you. The Scale plan debuts the returns analytics dashboard and the configurable alerts: returnEasier watches your metrics and warns you when something steps out of the ordinary.

The analytics dashboard

In the returnEasier menu, Analytics sums up your operation with 30-day, quarter or year ranges:

Time trend of returns day by day.
Top 10 most-returned products, to catch the size that runs odd or the photo that misleads.
Return reasons and split by resolution (refund, exchange, store credit, exchange purchase).
Returned value per currency and volume indicators plus average resolution time.

The alerts: you set the threshold

Under Alerts you create rules like 'warn me if product X exceeds 20 % of my returns' or 'warn me if the average resolution time goes past 72 hours'. When a rule crosses its threshold:

You receive an email in your store's language, with the measured value, your threshold and the direct link to the analytics.
The rule shows the 'Fired' badge inside the app.

Rules are evaluated daily over the last 30 days and, to keep the noise down, a fired alert is not repeated until 7 days have passed.
