Sendcloud shipping labels are a Scale plan feature. You connect your own keys in Sendcloud under Return labels (returnEasier validates them live on save), set your return address, the carrier and the default weight, and from each request's detail you generate the label as you authorise the request: returnEasier creates the label, makes it available to you as a PDF and sends it to the customer with the tracking number. The legal withdrawal button does not depend on this and works on all plans.
What you need and where it is set up
Labels are on Scale. On lower plans, Return labels shows a notice that it is a Scale feature and leaves the fields disabled. With the Scale plan, the screen has four sections:
Sendcloud credentials
- Public key and Secret key: the two keys from your Sendcloud account. They are entered together (or both left empty to keep the saved ones); the secret key is stored encrypted.
- On save, returnEasier calls Sendcloud to check them. If Sendcloud rejects them with a 401, you will see «Sendcloud rejected the keys»; for other failures, «Could not validate with Sendcloud». Nothing is saved until validation passes.
Return address
The address parcels are returned to. Fields: Name or company name, Address, Number (optional), Postcode, City and Country (two-letter ISO code, ES by default). If you leave it incomplete, returnEasier warns you with «Complete the return address».
Shipping preferences
- Preferred carrier for returns: a dropdown that returnEasier fills in by querying the real carriers available in your Sendcloud account. If you leave it empty, one is chosen automatically.
- Default weight (grams): between 1 and 30000. It is used when the real weight of the order cannot be calculated.
- Mark «received» automatically when the parcel is delivered: optional checkbox. When you turn it on a notice appears, because the request will move to «received» without anyone having opened or inspected the parcel.
Tracking webhook (optional)
returnEasier shows you a webhook URL (read-only) specific to your shop. Paste it into Sendcloud, under Settings → Integrations → your API integration → «Webhook feedback», so that the shipment status updates on its own. Do not touch the webhook of other integrations you already use: each integration has its own.
When everything is ready, you click «Validate and save».
How a label is generated on a request
In the detail of a request (with the Scale plan and Sendcloud connected) you generate the label in the same step in which you authorise the request. The button adapts to the request type: for a legal withdrawal it is «Mark as processing + label» (the legal flow does not use «approve» or «reject»); for a commercial return it is «Approve + label». When you click it, returnEasier records the action and starts creating the label in the background. When it is ready:
- The label PDF becomes available to download from the detail («Download label (PDF)» button).
- The customer receives an email with the label attached and their tracking number.
The label statuses
Each label has a status that you will see in the request detail:

The «pending verification» status is a safety net: if creation gets stuck halfway, returnEasier does not request another label on its own (to avoid duplicate charges) and lets you verify it in Sendcloud.
What still cannot be done from returnEasier
So you have the full picture: today you cannot cancel a label from the returnEasier panel (it is managed in your Sendcloud account), and adopting a «pending verification» label with several candidates may require checking it manually in Sendcloud. The rest of the flow —create, download, send to the customer, tracking and marking as received— is automatic.
