The home dashboard is the first thing you see when you open returnEasier once the setup is complete. It is not a control panel with charts: it is your starting point. It brings together a greeting, a getting-started list confirming that everything is ready and the notice about your quota when it matters (the trial quota on the Free plan, your monthly usage on the paid plans). From the side menu you reach everything else.
What you see when you open returnEasier
A welcome card with your store's name and a reminder that your account is configured and that from here you manage your return and withdrawal requests. If you have not yet completed the initial setup, the app does not show you the dashboard: it takes you to the setup wizard.
The dashboard does not show request counters or charts. That is deliberate: requests live in the Returns inbox, and advanced metrics are a Scale plan feature.
The getting-started list
A card with three items, each with its status (Done or Pending) and, where relevant, an action button:
- Initial setup completed. Always appears as Done (if you reached the dashboard, you finished it). The Review button takes you back to the wizard in case you want to adjust something.
- Withdrawal button activated on your store. Appears as Done if you activated the App Embed; if it is Pending, it shows an Activate button that takes you to the activation step. It is the only item that can remain pending.
- Current plan: [your plan]. Always Done, with the name of your plan. The See plans button takes you to Plans to change or upgrade at any time.
The trial quota notice (Free plan)
The Free plan includes 3 trial returns (a one-off quota, not monthly). The dashboard warns you only when it is relevant:
- When you have 1 left: an informational notice —"You have 1 trial return left"— with a See plans button. No urgency.
- When you use them up: a notice reminds you that the withdrawal button stays active for your customers (it is mandatory by law) and that new requests keep being recorded, and invites you to Choose a plan with a button straight to Plans.
We never block the legal button, nor do we use countdowns or alarmist messages: using up the trial quota only triggers the upgrade notice; it doesn't block anything (the legal button stays active and requests keep being recorded) and never affects your customers' rights.
The monthly quota banner (paid plans)
On the paid plans there is an equivalent notice: when you cross 80 % of your monthly return volume, the dashboard shows a banner with your usage —"You have used X of Y returns this month"— and the Update plan button. The tone steps up at 90 and 100 %, and when you reach 100 % it reminds you that requests keep being recorded as normal. The thresholds, the warning emails and what happens when you go over the quota are explained in "Returns limits and warnings".
How to navigate the app
The side menu of the embedded app is your map. From it you reach:
- Home — this dashboard.
- Returns — the request inbox and its detail.
- Commercial settings — Commercial Flow rules (Pro+).
- Return labels — Sendcloud (Scale+).
- Compliance — auditable export of the history.
- Plans — your plan and billing.
